Volunteers play a vital role in the fight against lung cancer. They help us build a community that provides hope, guidance and support to lung cancer patients and their families. Cancer can make a person feel powerless and out of control; volunteers ease this burden. Volunteering to help lung cancer patients is a great way to help people in need, raise awareness about lung cancer and give back. You can volunteer through an organization, like the American Lung Association, or find your own way to make a difference in someone’s life.
